Greenwich Parent Voice

ADHD Workshop: 1 March

Brand new local charity ADHD Greenwich is launching with a special workshop for parents and carers of children and young people with ADHD. Here's what they say:

ADHD Greenwich is a new project which is still very much in its infancy but our aim is to offer information, support, workshops and lectures from leading experts to help parents in Greenwich get the best for their children. Getting a diagnosis for your child can be a shock and a relief. Either way, it can be a daunting experience.

Workshop: ADHD A Formula for Success
Friday, 1 March 2019 from 13:15-15:30
Christchurch Shooters Hill Primary School, London SE18 3RS

Many parents feel very isolated and unsupported. In this workshop you will learn about ADHD but you will also learn how you can help your children succeed with ADHD.

This workshop will be led by Andrea Bilbow OBE, founder and CEO of ADDISS, President of ADHDEurope, and parent of two boys with ADHD who were diagnosed over 20 years ago. She willl share her journey and what she believes is a formula for success. It is this formula that ADHD in Greenwich hopes to role out to all parents in Greenwich in the near future.

The workshop is kindly being hosted by Christchurch Primary School Shooter’s Hill. Please arrive at the main gate and sign in at reception. The workshop will start at 1.15pm. You are welcome to bring children to the workshop. No childcare is provided however.

The workshop is free but if you would like to make a donation, please donate to www.addiss.co.uk, the National ADHD Charity of which Andrea Bilbow is CEO.
