parental Welfare Deputies

"According to the Mental Capacity Act, parents and families can only apply to become Welfare Deputies for their vulnerable young people in 'difficult' cases.
Three parents who are campaigning to have the law changed so that when vulnerable, learning disabled children turned 18, loving parents retain the legal right to make important decisions about their welfare, and they are seeking to crowdfund to change the law in this area.
