The We Live Network and Charlton Athletic Community Trust have partnered again to offer bespoke programmes each week to suit the needs of our diverse community and we are confident that at least one of these weeks will be suitable for your child or young adult to attend.

To be eligible to attend you will need to be aged between 11 and 25 years of age and either be a resident of or attend a school in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

The dates and details are as follows;

Week 1: 24th July – 28th July - ASD (higher functioning) Venue: Shooters Hill 6th Form College, Woolwich
Week 2: 31st July – 4th August - ASD (lower functioning) Venue: Shooters Hill 6th Form College, Woolwich
Week 3: 7th August – 11th August - PAN Disabilities (including MLD & SLD) Venue: Shooters Hill 6th Form College, Woolwich
Week 4: 14th August – 18th August - PMLD Venue: Nash College, Bromley

Please note that you are able to request up to three weeks, however only one week is guaranteed. Once you have returned the registration form you will be contacted to confirm your child’s place and to arrange payment. Places are offered on a first come first serve basis and where places are full, places will be held on a waiting list.

Should you wish to have a face to face discussion about this opportunity, you can come in and see us at Shooters Hill 6th Form College at one of the following times;

The cost of the programme to families is £125 per week. Where your child receives Direct Payments, these may be able to be used to make the payment. Limited concessions are available and are offered subject to meeting concession criteria (available upon request).

Your son/daughter will be in very safe hands. All of the staff who are working on this summer programme are either employed by Shooters Hill Campus or by Nash College. As such they may know your son or daughter or will anyway be very experienced in working with young people with a variety of LDD. All staff have an enhanced DBS, have training in safeguarding, epilepsy awareness and administering of medication including; Epipen and BUCCAL. We have first aid trained staff on site and where required a nurse will also be available.

Where we do not already know your child/young person and their support needs are more complex, it is likely that one of our staff will arrange a face to face meeting with you to make sure we have all of the information we need in advance of the summer programme starting.

Some of the activities will be on site and some off site. Activities may include;

Sport
Arts and Crafts
Music – Including a drumming workshop
Drama
Cooking
Swimming
BBQ

As well as trips to the Park, the farm, eagle heights, bowling and more.

  • Please note that activities and trips are subject to change but a full activity schedule will be available in advance upon request.
