Dyslexia and Neuro-Diverse Friendly Holiday club
These courses are designed to give pupils and students an insight into how they learn if they have Dyslexia or a related Neuro-Diverse (ND) conditions, such as dyspraxia, ADHD and may be suitable for some individuals on the autistic spectrum.
Target age range: Years 7 to 9 – A fun way to discover how you learn and to develop strategies to help make learning easier at secondary school. This programme was run very successfully two years ago and is being repeated by popular demand, including requests from some of the pupils who attended previously!
Target age range: Years 10 to 13 – Strategies and skills to make life with GCSEs and A-Levels easier – a fun way to learn useful stuff to help with tackling GCSEs and beyond. We know the new curriculum and exam regime can be very challenging if you are dyslexic or have related ND condition. Therefore, we have put together a programme that aims to make this much more manageable for dyslexic and ND individuals.
These courses are being run by the Dyslexia Association of Bexley Bromley Greenwich and Lewisham, with support from the Tutorial Foundation. They will take place at :
