Meet GPV at a school near you

Jo and Viv from GPV visit schools across the borough every term to host coffee mornings specifically for parents of children with special needs.

You don’t need to have a statement or EHC plan for your child to join us.

Your child does not need to have a diagnosis or a confirmed SEN, it could be that you have a concern and are looking for more information.

We usually bring a guest speaker on a topic that’s relevant for example ASD Outreach, the SaLT service or a charities supporting parents and children with disabilities. Our meetings are relaxed, informal, chatty and we always make sure free refreshments are supplied!

Here's the list of diary dates for school coffee mornings until the end of term:

12 October: Haimo School SE9: Guest Jon Hogan from ASD Outreach will be talking to parents about challenging behaviour. Open to all Greenwich parents.
3 November: Millennium School SE10, 9.30am Guest speaker Helene from 'STEPS' special needs education outreach service for primary schools, open to all Greenwich Parents.
10 November and 8 December:Charlton Park Academy School, 10am Joining us will be art therapist Julie Watson and our touring free creative drop-in Knit Stitch and Make. Open to parents at CPA.
23 November: Sherington Primary School, SE7 at 9am. Latecomers welcome.
Date TBC: St Patricks Catholic Primary School, SE18 at 2pm
17 November and 15 December: Willow Dene School. Parents at Willow Dene School welcome.
