Paid work experience for ASD

Could your son or daughter travel for a paid work experience opportunity? One is based in London, the other two may be of interest to families who have relatives or friends who could support with accommodation. We are listing them all in case Greenwich families can see an opportunity:

Ambitious about Autism are excited to be working with employers to bring paid work experience to young people aged 16-25 with autism.

Health Education England are seeking to appoint a candidate to a four-week work placement opportunity to a young person with autism aged 18-24.

The opportunity will take place from 8 July 2019 to 2 August 2019 and will be based in Bristol. Remuneration will be paid at £17,460 pro rate (before tax).

Application closing date: 3 May 2019

The Civil Service has an exciting three-week work experience opportunity being offered to young people aged 16-25.
The programme will take place from 15 July 2019 to 2 August 2019 and will be based in London. Remuneration will be paid at £350 per week (before tax).

Application closing date: 3 May 2019

Essex County Council is offering eight-week work experience opportunities to young people with autism, aged between 18-24.

 The programme will take place from 24 June 2019 to 16 August 2019 and will be based in either Chelmsford, Colchester or Billericay.

Remuneration will be paid at National Minimum Wage of £7.70 per hour (before tax).

 Application closing date: 17 May 2019 at 11am
